Living Waters Vineyard — Blairsville, GA

Tucked into the hills just outside of Blairsville, Living Waters Vineyard is easily one of my favorite winery stops in North Georgia. It strikes that perfect balance—great views, a relaxed atmosphere, and just enough going on to keep things interesting without ever feeling overwhelming.

The Experience

This place really shines when you settle in and take it all in. The views here are spectacular, especially as the sun starts to drop behind the mountains. It’s the kind of setting that keeps you lingering longer than you planned.

On weekends—especially during peak season—you’ll often find:

  • 🎶 Live music
  • 🚚 Food trucks
  • 🍷 A lively but still laid-back crowd

Sunrock Tip:
Be sure to check their events calendar before heading out. There’s a good chance something is going on, and it can really elevate the visit.

Wine, Beer & Cider

The wine here is legitimately solid, with a range of options that make it easy to find something you’ll enjoy.

But what really makes this place stand out:

  • 🍺 They offer a selection of beer
  • 🍏 Cider options available as well

👉 Important Note: Beer is not available on Sundays, so plan accordingly if that’s your go-to.

This flexibility is a big reason why this spot keeps making the list—it’s perfect whether you’re in the mood for wine or just want to grab a cold beer and enjoy the view.

Rider Notes 🏍️

  • The road up to the vineyard is paved but a bit rough—it could definitely use a fresh coat
  • Take it easy on the way up, especially on a bike
  • Once you’re there, parking is manageable and worth the ride in

It’s a small tradeoff for what you get at the top.

Membership & Extras

If you find yourself in the area often, they also offer a wine club membership, which is a nice perk for regular visitors looking to take a little bit of the experience home with them.

Final Thoughts

Between the incredible views, solid wine, and the ability to grab a beer or cider when the mood hits, Living Waters Vineyard checks a lot of boxes. Add in live music and food trucks on the right day, and it’s easy to see why this is one of my personal go-to stops in the Blairsville area.

If you’re riding through or just looking for a place to unwind for a few hours—this one’s absolutely worth the stop.
